I am currently accepting a limited number of new clients who are interested in resolving acute or chronic trauma due to my professional certification process. I have a few availabilities during the week and am accepting telehealth. If this interests you, please message me to set up a free 20 minute consultation to assess if we are a good match.
Do you accept health insurance? Yes, please see details below:
Aetna, Cigna, Optum (United Healthcare) is accepted. Simply contact me so I can conduct a verification to get you started.
You are not accepting my insurance, what can I do?
I am more than happy to provide you with a Super Bill if you are interested in submitting a claim for reimbursement with another insurance company. Many of my clients take this approach and request reimbursement. Since benefits vary from one plan to the next, I urge you to contact your health insurance plan about your coverage. Some clients decide not to use their insurance at all to keep a governing third party out of such a personal process.
I am not sure if I have coverage for therapy. What can I do?
Please check your coverage carefully by calling the number on your insurance card and asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.
How frequently should I go to therapy and how long do I have to go?
This is a very common question and the answer varies from case to case. Some people have specific issues they would like to tackle and keep their engagement rather short (a few months). Some individuals or couples prefer to stay in therapy for a longer length of time to uncover and address more deep-rooted issues. The frequency of visits depends on your personal preference combined with what works best for your therapeutic process. Many of my clients have worked with me for a period of time and decide to end therapy only to re-engage when a new (or old) issue arises. This is quite common and may work better for some people. We can discuss what may work best for you as we take into consideration your goals and circumstances.
